Frytol Celebrates Over 500 Women On Mothers Day
Mother's day which occurs on the second Sunday of May, remains one of the important days
celebrated by many Ghanaians. It is a day to appreciate mothers and women at home, the workplace,
church and in the society.
Prior to the main event, Frytol set the ball rolling by engaging several women groups in cooking
competitions as a way of offering these women first-hand experience on the usage of the many products
under the Frytol and Fortune portfolio. The celebrations were extended to the Church of Pentecost
women ministry cook-off in Ashiaman, which saw about 100 women using Frytol and Fortune products
during their cook- off sessions. At the International Charismatic Church in Fadama,
the Generation X movement of the church battled it out in a cooking competition as they made sumptuous
meals for 150 mothers in the church. Amidst all the excitement, all the women in attendance brought
home goody bags filled with Frytol and Fortune products.
In the digital space, Frytol reached out to mothers via its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
In line with Frytol's belief of "You Deserve a Life of Goodness”, the brand invited women to share what Goodness means to their mother on its social media pages.
The many responses received shed light on what really mattered and were truly important to women, especially mothers.
30 participants who submitted the most meaningful video responses received product hampers and spa vouchers from Wilmar Africa.
